We’re thrilled to share an exciting update from our hatchery experiments! Our trial to grow seaweed plantlets on grow lines originating from gametophytes has been a resounding success. These plantlets are thriving, marking a major milestone in validating our approach to seaweed cultivation.
This achievement is significant for two reasons: first, it confirms that our innovative hatchery design works effectively, even when operated in a challenging, active warehouse environment. Second, it demonstrates that our methods for cultivating gametophytes into plantlets on grow lines perform exactly as intended.
With this success under our belts, we’re now preparing to take the next bold step. The seed string produced from this trial will soon be deployed on our uniquely designed seaweed farm, set to launch in the open ocean.
